Admission to Bogomolets National Medical University
As the number of Indian students admitted to their facility has continued to increase the university has streamlined the application and admissions process to help ensure it is as seamless as possible.
Students are required to be at least 17 years old and to have a high school certificate of completion, and, according to the course of study pursued, other educational requirements may need to be met, although it is generally acknowledged that admission to the school is easier than it would be to a medical school in India.
Indian students will also require a student visa and proofs that they (and/or their family) can meet the financial obligations attached to attending the school. There are a limited number of scholarships open to Indian students.

The Bogomolets National Medical University is housed in on a large and sprawling campus in the heart of Kiev. The buildings are a combination of older facilities, some of which date back to university’s founding and modern, newly built structures, many of which house the medical labs that students will become very familiar with.
Students are accommodated in dorms on campus, usually sharing a room with one or more other students. A large on-campus canteen serves a wide variety of cuisines, including Indian and students are well- fed at a very reasonable cost.
Heading out into the city of Kiev students will find it is a city that celebrates both its ancient history and modern innovation. There are a large number of museums and art galleries to visit, lots of green spaces to enjoy and a very efficient metro train system to help them get around easily and inexpensively. Although the official language spoken in Kiev is Ukrainian, students will find that many locals do speak English and it’s not unusual for MBBS students to leave the university after six years with a knowledge of both Ukrainian and Russian, additional skills that may make them even more appealing to future employers.
